Activities

Obtaining Health and Fitness do not have to be boring! We move in many ways, and it is with movement that we build strength and flexibility, and develop the energy that makes our lives more vibrant and enjoyable. There are as many ways to train the body as there are bodies. These are some of the activities we can do together...

Core Strength
Our "core" is the foundation of every movement we make in life. A healthy back is protected by a strong front. Working the abdominals and back muscles in different directions enhances muscle recruitment for this multitasking group. I will teach you how to engage and stabilize this group of muscles for optimal protection when doing your daily activities.

Yoga
Whether for stress reduction, developing balance and flexibility, or strengthening with a whole body approach I can help you achieve your goals. Yoga is a perfect balance between the mind and body experience.

Weight Training
Strong muscles protect weak joints. I can teach you how to use proper form when working with weights, bands and straps. How you do it is just as important as doing it! The muscle builds when resistance is placed on it at any age. It is never too late!

Circuit Training
Cardiovascular and muscle endurance training gives you two for one in your workouts! I can set up interesting circuits using whatever equipment you may have along with all my 'toys' I bring to you. Training your muscles with a variety modalities keeps them toned.

TRX Training
It's the latest and possibly the best body weight program ever! You have to experience the strap to understand what I mean. The TRX Suspension Strap can be your favorite travel gym when we are away from each other. With only a door I can set it up anywhere in your home. TRX can provide a whole body workout or I can integrate it into your circuit or weight training. Check out the website for inspiration! www.fitnessanywhere.com

Cardio Training
Don't worry I won't bring a treadmill to your house, but I can show you how to increase your cardiovascular endurance with steps, hula hoops, and calisthenics. You'll be surprised by all the creative ways we can use things you already have around your house for an invigorating cardiovascular workout.
